Hoopfest 2008 : Hoopfest is the worlds largest, 3 on 3 street basketball tournament. 6,400 teams, hundreds of thousands of families, friends and fans. An unbelieveable event for both participants and spectators, I have been lucky to be an official photographer for the event, shooting images for all of the collateral used by the event. These images are a small portion of what is shot over 5 days, from the initial set up through the tear down of the event, getting the city of Spokane back to normal. These images have been left open, for use by the people I shot during the event, for their memories. All images are Copyrighted by Gary M. Peterson. The images may be used for personal purposes by the individuals I have shot. "Right Click and Save" your image to your computer. All other useage must be approved by Gary Peterson, or Hoopfest and no commercial useage has been granted by allowing access to these images. Peak Adventures Cat Skiing with Yurt overnight in Cataldo, Idaho : I was able to get out for the weekend with a great group of people in the St Joes Mountains in North Idaho. Backcountry snowboarding and skiing with the great guides and crew from Peak Adventures, based in Cataldo Idaho. What an amazing weekend we all had courtesy of Steve and Terri, Scott, Cort and others whose hard work opened up close to 3000 acres of pristine terrain for us to play on. Thanks to all of the participants that tolerated me being there with them, and being such able and willing ski/snowboard models! I hope I did not slow you down too much! Please email me for the password to this gallery so you can view the images, and save the ones you would like for yourself. If you find an image that you are going to print for your office or wall, it would be awesome if you would print from this site, as I do get a percentage of the print sales from Smugmug....and Gary sure would like a new pair of those high tech Smith goggles! This is just the first batch of images...I took over 1,000 but it will take a bit to get them all edited and uploaded....

Photo Studio Rental : My studio is available for rent to photographers needing a place to shoot their latest project. The studio is well equipped with lights, both fixed and strobe, foggers, backdrops, props, as well as light cubes for product shots. Office is available for editing and has wireless internet. Bathroom, changing area, and lots of parking, close to downtown Spokane with easy highway access makes this a great place to shoot your next project. Rates start at $50.00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Long term discounted rates available. I am looking for the right person(s) to sub-lease this space with me, so if you need a space to shoot on a continual basis, let me know.
